Vocational training generally refers to the training course required to achieve a profession and be ready to face the working world.

Initial vocational training (degree courses …) refers to young people starting their working career for the first time.

Continuing professional development (CPD) refers to adults who wish to constantly keep up with the utmost professional level. CPD is part of the so-called lifelong learning concept; the continuous building of skills and knowledge throughout the life of an individual. This means that learning must now develop as a permanent part of working activities and personal development in the so-called “knowledge society”.

Dental techniques are constantly evolving and it is expected that in future this trend will continue to expand.
